my Church is all about expanding our ministry campus in order to continue to fulfill our vision of reaching people, and building lives. my Church is a spiritual journey that is strategically designed to get us in our new church home by November 9-10, 2013. Imagine, very soon we will be enjoying the new facility that God has designed for us.

It's about people. Since Church of the King’s inception, our focus has been on seeing people come to Christ and grow in their faith. As a result of this continual focus, our weekend services now have over 5,000 people in attendance. Our new Little Creek church home will allow us to continue serving and ministering to the needs of our growing church family. The spacious new facility will also enable us to make a greater eternal impact through training, equipping, and sending leaders to reach our community, region, and the world for Jesus.

Our new campus expansion will include…

• Approximately 120,000 total building square footage
• 2,650 seat state-of-the-art Worship Center with sloped floor and theatre-style seating
• 1,500 paved parking spaces
• Large, open plaza (This outdoor area will serve as our third venue for large events.)
• 47,000+ square foot children’s ministry facilities
  • Secure check-in area
  • Tube Zone
  • Two theater-style auditoriums
  • Multiple classrooms
  • Story-time venue
• 34,000 square foot, spacious community lobby with warm and comfortable gathering spaces for friends and family including:
  • Multiple Coffee Areas
    • Located adjacent to the bookstore and the children’s area, there will be two inviting cafés serving a variety of coffees.
  • Enlarged Bookstore - three times it current size
  • Small Group Meeting Areas
    • Our new facility will offer multiple settings for small group Bible studies.
• Parents Room overlooking the Worship Center
  • A special room allowing parents of newborns to be engaged in the service while caring for their infants.

The exterior of the building is completely “dried in.” Work on the parking lot and exterior of the building is completing now. The interior work is in full motion. God has given our leadership team a definitive plan to be in the new facility by November 9-10,2013.

The total project cost is $33 million. This includes a 2,650 seat Worship Center, state-of-the-art children’s ministry auditoriums, classrooms and nursery, a new expanded bookstore, two coffee areas and community lobby, 1,500 paved parking spots and landscaping. The cost also includes sound, video, and lighting equipment.

This is a God-sized task far beyond the ability of any one person but, together, with God’s help, we can attain this vision. The my Church need is $19.5 million over the next two years. It will take each of us - individuals and families, sacrificially partnering together to fulfill this project need. Your two-year commitment to my Church should be an amount God leads you to give over-and-above your regular tithe. In order to continue ministering to our growing church family, we must continue to maintain our regular giving in regard to the tithe.

There are multiple ways you can partner in this journey in order for us to complete the project debt-free and finish strong. Your 24-month my Church pledge is an investment in reaching people and building lives. You can make your pledge in one of two ways. First, you can pledge online here. Second, you can pledge using a commitment card that will be provided the weekends of April 27th - 28th and May 4th - 5th or provided in your my Church brochure. You also have the opportunity to partner financially through a one-time gift. You may choose to give stocks, bonds, or some other form of security as part of yourr gift. Yes. We will procure short-term financing for $11 million to finish our new church home. Both the Bible and Crown Financial teach that short-term debt is permissible when it meets two criteria – 1) When that debt is attached to an appreciating asset and 2) When there is a clear payoff strategy. We believe God has given us a plan through the my Church journey providing us the potential to pay off the this loan within eighteen months of occupying the building.

my Church receipts need to be at $8.5 million prior to our November 2013 move-in date to satisfy our bank-required need.
